Justin Bower, (American), is at the forefront of a fresh wave of American Abstract Expressionism, harnessing his mesmerising talent to convey the sacred through his large-scale oil paintings and the pioneering academic talks he presents across notable museums where his work is exhibited.
Bower's work is focused where identity and the human condition collide, offering a compelling glimpse into the artist’s interpretation of the spiritual realm and iconography —a theme deeply rooted in the annals of Art History fused with his fascination with the progression of the technological age.
Notable Accolades: Bower’s paintings have been acquired by several notable collections, including the Eugenio Lopez Collection, the Carlos Slim Collection, The Weisman Art Foundation, and the Cosmopolitan Collection in Las Vegas. His paintings have also been exhibited alongside Martin Kippenberger, Damien Hirst, Bas Jan Ader and Chuck Close to name but a few.
Since his Christie’s sale of ‘The Magician’ in 2016, Bower’s career has soared, with Museum solo shows at the world-renowned Museum of Art History, (California), UniX, (New York), G-allery, (Berlin), Maddox Gallery, (London and Los Angeles galleries), Riverside Museum of Art, (Glasgow) and his permanent works show at Laguna Art Museum, (California).
